Major charts include Panel, Jodi, Open-Close and Yearly charts. Each serves a slightly different purpose when studying historical numbers.
A panel (patti) is a 3-digit number such as 467 that is recorded for the date. The first digit often behaves as the open digit and the last digit behaves as close depending on market format.
A jodi is a two-digit pair formed by combining the open and close digits. For example, Open=4 and Close=7 produce Jodi=47. Jodi charts list the pairs from 00 to 99.
Using panel, jodi and open-close charts together makes it straightforward to read historic patterns. See Panel Chart for examples.
